Discover Harman’s creative redscale color negative film, Red 125—a striking twist on the Phoenix emulsion designed to transform your work into bold, dystopian art.

This medium-speed film, rated at ISO 125, delivers a unique effect by exposing the red-sensitive layer first—thanks to its reverse-loaded cassette. The result? Photographs awash in vivid reds, oranges, and yellows, with occasional greens and deep shadows for dramatic contrast.

Harman’s proprietary Phoenix base, complete with high red sensitivity, a clear acetate substrate, and no anti-halation layer, ensures excellent light transmission and minimal speed loss—the perfect recipe for intense color shifts without technical sacrifice. Developed via standard C-41 processes and packaged in DX-coded cassettes (for both 35 mm and 120), Red 125 fits seamlessly into your existing workflow.

Rated nominally at ISO 125 but usable from ISO 50–400, the film performs best between ISO 100–200, offering flexibility for experimentation. Underexpose to enhance grain and deep reds; expose normally for balanced orange tones; overexpose for finer grain, heightened contrast, and striking reds and oranges

In varied lighting—from diffused daylight to moody overcast or flash-lit nights—Red 125 creates a captivating “apocalyptic” mood. Reviewers praise its ability to “transform mundane scenes into dystopian masterpieces”, while detailed accounts highlight its stunning night halations that echo cinematic sci-fi vibes.
